Rules

Keep outside fires in the fire ring. Put out fire when done. No fireworks, please.

No smoking inside. When smoking outside, for safety, please extinguish in sand pots found on both porches.

Parents/Adults must accompany children outside at all times. Please stay clear of any construction areas and stay safely back from the drop off to the trail.

No pets allowed.

Hot tub: Please see page devoted to the Hot tub.

We will service and restore all malfunctioning equipment as soon as possible, however lack of amenties or utilities that are outside our control will not result in deduction from rental fee. Due to cleaning and servicing, sometimes the hot tub is not up to full temperature at the time of your arrival.

Not responsible for loss of personal items

Payment: No personal checks will be accepted. We currently accept money orders/cashier checks, traveler's checks or cash. You must be 21 years of age or have a parent or guardian staying with you in order to rent a cabin.

Gift certificates are available.

Check-In: 3:00 pm, unless special arrangements are agreed upon.

Check-Out: 11:00 am, unless special arrangements are agreed upon.

Please treat this cabin with the care that it was built with. The majority of the work in the building of this beautiful cabin was done by the owners. We hope your friends and family are able to enjoy this cabin for many years to come.

 

Hot Tub

Important Health Information

Always enter and exit the spa slowly and cautiously.

Never use a spa while under the influence of alcohol, anticoagulants, antihistamines, vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulants, hypnotic, narcotics, or tranquilizers.

Long exposure in the spa may result in nausea, dizziness or fainting. Observe a reasonable time limit, leave the spa, then shower and cool down. If you wish, return for another brief stay.

Pregnant women and persons suffering from heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure should not enter the spa without prior medical consolation and permission from their doctor.

Do not use the spa alone. Please, no hanky panky in the hot tub.

Heat Stroke: The most susceptible people are the very young and elderly, alcoholics and most people under the influence of drugs, medication, and alcohol.

Symptoms: Hypothermia causes loss of salt, sweating, ordinary dizziness, headache, dryness of mouth and nausea, faintness and/or unconsciousness, convulsions, flushed appearance of skin and rapid pulse and/or weak, shallow breathing.

Treatment: Place the victim on his or her back, head slightly elevated. Apply wet cloths or ice packs to the head, wrap the body in a sheet, pouring on small amounts of water. Follow with a cool shower or bath. Get medical attention as soon as possible.
